This Gal of Mine

Seven. Sigh.

This little girl turned my world upside down when she came into my life. I was not quite ready for baby #2 but she came and I can't imagine my life without her. Everyone that knows her knows that there's just something about her - something that makes you want to be around her. It's her gift. Parker's gift is compassion. Anna's gift is love. You can't be around her and not feel loved. She's full of hugs and smiles for anyone she considers friend or family.
When she's not smothering you with love she's making you laugh with all of the crazy things she says or even the animated way she moves. She's strongwilled, a little feisty, and all pink. She's the greatest gal I know! Happy Birthday my sweet girl! I love you beyond the moon.....and back!

1st Day of School

Ok, so they've been in for a month or so now but late is better than never, right?

Boy, I love these two. I miss them during the day - alot. I'm counting down until we go off track (4 weeks and two days). We're off to a great start though. Anna had some rough days - I think a combination of being tired and missing her friends and school in Texas but we pushed through it and she is doing great! Park's doing great and is happy to be back where he started! =]

Looks Like We Made It...

Well we've been here a few weeks now and we've spent far more time playing than getting settled! There are still plenty of boxes to unpack but since the kids start school in a week I figure I can get it done then. We have to squeeze as much summer into the next few days as possible.

We've had a great time catching up with friends and family - in some ways, it feels like we never left! The kiddos are happy and fell right back into place with their friends. I'm happy to see that they are happy! We often think of and miss some great friends in Texas though.

So that's our little update. We hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful summer!

Goodbye Texas! =(
