Today was Parker's very first field trip and what a fun place to go. We (I got to tag along) went to Gateway Discovery. What a great place! There is so much to investigate! Science, imagination, building, rock climbing, a helicopter, pretend play - really, they have it all. I think Parker's favorite was the 'water play'. You could tell by the look on his face, how hard he was studying to figure out how it all worked.
We're on our last few days of kindergarten. Field trip today, field day tomorrow, walking field trip to the library on Wednesday and Thursday is his last day. A short summer and off to - sniff - first grade! I just can't believe it!
