A Visit from the Toothfairy!

Parker was feeling very discouraged because he had never lost a tooth so for Valentine's we bought him a chapter book called Tooth Trouble about a little boy who was the last kid in his class to lose a tooth. What do you know! Three days later Parker had a loose tooth! After a month of wiggling and jiggling, his tooth finally came out yesterday when he bit into a chocolate bar at church!

The Toothfairy paid us a visit last night and left Parker a note about taking good care of his teeth, some sugar-free gum, and a $5 dollar bill although there was some disagreement between the Toothfairy's helpers about how that's too much and he'll expect it every time and has a lot of teeth to lose! I, er, I mean the Toothfairy's helper was convinced by Aaron, I mean, the other Toothfairy's helper that his first tooth is something special, especially when he's been waiting for so long so it's worth more to the Toothfairy!

Loose!

Gone! Ka-CHING!

Yeah Parker! Paige also just lost her first tooth. There is an episode of Arthur, where he is the only one in his class who hasn't lost a tooth, that helped get her through! 5 bucks is just perfect for the first tooth (or so I hear from the tooth fairy helper)!

I love it! I think you- the toothfairy raised the bar a little high! I was thinking a dollar a tooth was steep! :)
I love the picture sequence!!

Awww! That is so cool Parker, I am happy for you. The tooth-fairy gave Allie $5.00 a tooth as well, and it was mostly because he would pull them out her self and never once did she cry, so we were very proud of her, and so was the tooth-fairy. Thank goodness her teeth have all fallen out and maybe she can save her self some money, or give it to the next strong child LIKE Parker. Love you all.

Sweet! When the boys have a loose tooth they run to get an apple. One of the best ways to loosen a tooth with the bonus of them eating something healthy.
